Ernie grew up in Pacoima, CA and now lives in Georgetown, TX with his wife and 13-year-old son. He comes from a large family on his dad's side and enjoys working on cars and trucks, cooking, Jiu-Jitsu, mountain biking, and staying active. Ernie is also a Stage 4 Cancer Warrior who has been in remission since 2004 — a testament to his strength and resilience. After leaving the military, he found his calling in insurance when he saw how individuals and families could be protected even on their worst day. A lifelong coach at heart, Ernie is passionate about helping others take care of the people they love.
